USBTenki: Precision USB Temperature and humidity sensor
Product Description:
This is a precision temperature and relative humidity sensor which connects to an USB port. Based on the SHT75 from Sensirion, this product has a typical accuracy of ±0.3°C @ 25°C and ±2% RH.
Specifications:
- RH operating range: 0 - 100% RH
- Temperature operating range: -40°C - +125°C (sensor tip only)
- Powered through USB
- Works under Linux and MacOS X (compilation required)
- NOT waterproof. Use adequate housing.
At the moment, USBTenki devices are supported by a command line tool which works on Linux and MacOS X. Since it uses libusb, it can probably be compiled under other OSes supported by libusb. Graphs can be generated with a munin plugin. The software, including source code, can be downloaded from the host software page.

Important: As can be seen on the pictures, the sensor tip is not enclosed in any kind of protective enclosure. This is for installation flexibility. For instance, if you want to install the sensor outdoor and need to drill through a wall to do so, the hole won't have to very big.
