Description
Nintendo 64 and Gamecube controllers are excellent controllers which are quite appropriate
for many PC games. With this adapter, it's possible to use a N64 or Gamecube controller on
a PC equipped with an USB port. For multiplayer games, many adapters can be used at the
same time.
Supported controllers:
- Standard Gamecube controllers (Official and 3rd party)
- Wireless Gamecube controllers (Tested with Nintendo's Wavebird and an Intec controller)
- Gamecube Dance mats (Opposite directions supported)
- N64 Controllers (Official and most 3rd party, inclding the Hori Mini)
- Should support all accessories acting as a standard N64 or GC controller. (eg: DK Bongos)
- Vibration function/rumble supported! Tested with project64 and dolphin. (since adapter firmware 2.1)
- Supports the Gamecube keyboard. Tested with ASCII ASC-1901P0 (Since firmware version 2.9)
Not supported:
- N64 Memory cards
- Simultaneous use of a N64 controller and Gamecube controller on the same adapter.
System requirements:
The firmware auto-detects which type of controller (Gc or N64) is connected. On the PC side,
no custom drivers are needed. It works fine with
Windows (2K/XP/Win7/Win8 32&64 bit),
Linux and
MacOS X.
It should also work with other operating systems supporting USB and HID joysticks (and HID keyboards to use the Gamecube keyboard). Vibration only
tested on Windows with project64 and dolphin. Both parts of the gamecube keyboard are supported, but only one at a time. Two
adapters are needed to use the joystick and keyboard simultaneously.
